We had a great week! Mrs. Wyndham, Sierra's grandmother has helped in the classroom for the past two weeks. She was awesome! The Science Fair Projects were unbelievable! Everyone was a winner in my book! The Read A Thon was also a great success! Our 1st place winner was Tanner Savage and our 2nd place winner was Rurik Neumann! Congratulations boys!!! We are studying fractions. We have learned about numerators and denominators. We have added and subtacted fractions, learned about; equivalent fractions, improper fractions, and Mixed Numerals. Please reinforce these at home. We also learned about Circumference, diameter, and radius. Wow! We sure have a lot to learn in 4th grade!!! We are finishing Mountain Men, and will start our Utah Pioneer unit. I can't believe how fast the school year is moving! Only eight short weeks left! Please make sure your child is in school, or it will be very hard on them during End of Level Testing. The play "Once Upon A Mattress" was a great production! We enjoyed seeing our classmate Sydney, in it! Nice job Syd! Thank you so much for all of your wonderful support!! I love your child, and I love you, for giving me this great opportunity to teach them! Also, don't forget our field trip to "Snow Canyon State Park" on Thursday! Dress warm, it's always cold in the canyon during the morning hours! Thanks Again!
